How do airplanes work?

This article is for kids k-4.mroe fun at Xplorewithsid.com !

An airplane has specially special wings called airfoils, that move the air on the top of the wing faster than the air that is below the wing, making the wings with high pressure, and airplanes have with engines that makes the thrust and force the airplane forward, while the lift created by air pressure carries the aircraft up.

                                         What airplane goes the highest?

The highest airplane was a reconnaissance aircraft. The SR-71.it goes about 90,000 feet high!!! The highest airliner flying today reaches 45,000 feet. The SR-71 was designed to fly at more than three times the speed of sound. This meant it would become very hot during flight. To help with this, most of the aircraft was made of titanium. Radar absorbing material was also used to make the aircraft more difficult to detect.

why are airplanes important?

airplanes might help us to get jobs, learn about other places, and to visit family. we can go around the earth fast to get to other places. air planes travel above the clouds to avoid bad weather too.it would not be easy to live a life with out airplanes
