this article is for kids k-4. more at Xplorewithsid.com !
sneezing is your body's natural way of getting rid of something irritating inside your nose or any foreign particles such as dust, perfume, and smoke. and even your pet's hair can tickle and irritate the inner part of your nose.
how do we know when we sneeze?
When the unwanted particle goes inside the delicate part of your nose, a tickle message is sent to a special part of the brain. The brain then sends a message to all muscles that have to work together to create a amazingly complex project called sneeze! ah ah Achoo!
how does it happen?
as soon as the brain sends that signal to the sneeze, within a fraction of a second, you will find your eyes forced shut and your tongue pushing against the roof of your mouth, and your other parts such as the belly muscles, chest muscles, throat muscles and more getting together to make a perfect sneeze send the particles flying nearly a 100.0 miles per hour. AH AH ACHOO!! excuse me!
